The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s first annual modern slavery statement lays out the steps and measures taken to recognise and mitigate modern slavery risks within the department’s supply chains.

The statement includes sections on the following:

  • organisation structure and supply chains
  • policies in relation to modern slavery
  • risk assessment and due diligence
  • training and awareness raising
  • arm’s-length bodies (ALBs)
  • goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)

The statement covers the period 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021. New statements will be published annually.
