The main decision-making, executive and managerial bodies for Building Digital UK.


Building Digital UK (BDUK) has a BDUK Board, Audit and Risk Assurance Committee, People and Development Committee and a Finance and Commercial committee to manage and advise on activities.

BDUK Board

The BDUK Board is the most senior body in BDUK. Its role is to advise the Chief Executive on the strategic direction and management of BDUK in order to give BDUK the best chance of success.

Audit and Risk Assurance Committee

The purpose of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee is to support the BDUK Board and the BDUK Accounting Officer in their responsibilities for risk management, control and governance.

The role of the People and Development Committee is to advise the BDUK Board on how best to optimise the engagement, productivity and impact of the workforce.

The Finance and Commercial Committee

The purpose of the Finance and Commercial Committee is to support the BDUK Board and the BDUK Accounting Officer in their responsibilities by giving oversight and scrutiny to BDUK finance and commercial activity and reviewing BDUK’s financial management and compliance.
