AWE Nuclear Security Technologies’ purpose is to protect the UK through nuclear science and technology. Our mission is to design and manufacture warheads and provide nuclear services to meet the needs of defence.

AWE is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Nuclear Organisation.
