UK Visa Applications in Iceland
The UK Visa Application process in Iceland is changing. The final day for appointments at the British Embassy Reykjavík will be 24 March.
From 31 March 2014 the Foreign & Commonwealth Office´s new commercial partner, Teleperformance Ltd, will take over the running of the Visa Application Centre in Reykjavík. The Visa Application Centre will move from the British Embassy Reykjavík to:

The final day for appointments at the Embassy will be 24 March 2014.
In addition, the following changes will be made to the visa service that is offered:
Opening hours
From 31 March 2014, appointments will be available at the Visa Application Centre every other Monday from 09:00 to 13:00. This will reduce to once a month during quieter periods.
User Pays Charges
From 31 March 2014 there will be a charge of £59 to use the Visa Application Centre in Reykjavík. This will be in addition to the existing visa fee and will be charged in Euros using the consular rate of exchange at the point of booking the appointment.
The User Pay charge will not apply to gratis or EEA Family Permit customers, who will continue to be able to submit their applications free of charge.
The User Pay charge is a global, standard fee and will apply to all Visa Applicaton Centres in the Nordic region and in the majority of EU countries.

All applications for a UK Visa must continue to be submitted using the online applications system and paid for online, in Euros, before going to the Visa Application Centre to submit biometric data. Click here to apply
All applications will continue to be assessed by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) staff.
Processing target times will remain unchanged.
UK Visas and Immigration will work closely with the Commercial Partners to ensure continuity of service during the transition period. There may however be a short transition period when no appointments are available.
