Traffic Bulletin: Overnight closures on M20 near Maidstone, Kent

Road users in Kent are advised that there will be carriageway closures on the M20 near Maidstone, Kent from tonight for the next two nights.

The closures, which will all be between 8pm and 6am, are to facilitate work on the gantries.

Thursday 16 April: The coastbound distributor road between junction 5 and junction 6. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 7. Road users wishing to join the M20 at junction 5 will be diverted via the London-bound carriageway to junction 4.

Friday 17 April: The London-bound distributor road between junction 6 and junction 5 will be closed. A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via junction 4. Road users wishing to join the M20 at junction 6 will be diverted via the coastbound carriageway to junction 7.

Drivers using this section of the M20 are advised to plan their journeys and allow some extra time to reach their destinations.
