Three Hondurans selected for prestigious Chevening Scholarships

Three outstanding Honduran professionals are heading to the UK to pursue fully funded master’s degrees, having earned a place in the Chevening Scholarship programme.

We would like to congratulate the following applicants who will continue to elevate Honduras in various academic fields. They are:

  • Iliana Licona will study a master’s degree in International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science in England.
  • Kiomi Perdomo will study a master’s degree in International Public Health at Liverpool John Moores University in England.

Each will undertake a one-year master’s programme at leading UK universities, representing Honduras with excellence and ambition.

Chevening is a transformative opportunity, funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations, to empower future leaders from around the world to study in the UK, build global networks, and gain the skills to drive positive change in their home countries.

Chevening Scholars return home after their studies to contribute to their communities and join a global network of over 55,000 alumni who are making an impact across sectors and borders.
