The Honorary Vice Consul in Guayaquil is awarded the Insignia of Member of the British Empire

María Fátima del Rocío Torres has been awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE Badge of the Order of the British Empire).

María Fátima del Rocío Torres, an Ecuadorian and civil servant for 29 years, has been chosen by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to be awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE Badge of the Order of the British Empire).

The British Ambassador in Ecuador, Patrick Mullee, awarded the Insignia of the Order of the British Empire (MBE Badge of the Order of The British Empire) to Maria Fatima del Rocío Torres, Honorary Vice Consul in Guayaquil, in a ceremony which took place on Friday 27th February in Guayaquil. Rocío has worked as Honorary Vice Consul for the last 16 years, and 29 in total, serving with great dedication, professionalism and solidarity to British citizens in the province of Guayas. She is awarded this Honour for her service and commitment, and continues with her hard work in the Consular section.
