The application process in Ecuador for Chevening scholarships for 2016/2017 is now open

The scholarships offer full financial support to study a Master’s degree at a top university in the UK. As a Chevening scholar, you will have the opportunity to join a highly prestigious and influential global network with hundreds of other colleagues who have access to these scholarships worldwide. The Chevening programme is looking to attract talented professionals, future leaders and decision makers in the public and private sectors of Ecuador. This year, the priority areas for Chevening scholarships in Ecuador are:

• Human Rights, Governance and Democracy • Journalism and Media • International Trade and Investment • International Relations, Development and Diplomacy • Sustainable Development and Climate Change

For the 2015/2016 period, 5 scholarships were awarded to candidates with great leadership potential in each one of their areas. They will carry out their Master’s degrees at University College London, London School of Economics, University of Westminster and University of Nottingham.

In Ecuador, a Chevening scholarship includes: a monthly stipend, a return flight to the United Kingdom from your country of origin (with an approved route), excess baggage, cost of dissertation or thesis, cost of a visa for the United Kingdom and university enrolment. Applications will be open from 3rd August until 3rd November 2015.
