The southbound A3 will be closed between the Hog’s Back and Milford overnight, between 10pm and 6am, from Monday 11 May until Thursday 21 May (Monday to Friday only) for resurfacing. In addition, the southbound bore of the Hindhead Tunnel will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 6am, from Monday 11 May until Wednesday 13 May for maintenance.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A31 and A325 to rejoin the A3 at Longmoor. During the tunnel closure, road users joining the A3 at Thursley will be diverted by a contraflow system using the northbound bore.

Drivers planning to use this section of the A3 are advised to plan their journeys and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
