Social Mobility and Child Poverty Commission appointment

The government has appointed Christian Guy to the Social Mobility and Child Poverty Commission.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Christian is Director of the Centre for Social Justice. He replaces Neil O’Brien, who stepped down in December 2012. The post is unsalaried.

The Social Mobility and Child Poverty Commission was established last year to monitor the government’s progress in improving social mobility and reducing child poverty in the United Kingdom.
