The British Embassy Baku would like to invite applications for the position of LEVb Security Guard.
The successful candidate will be part of a team providing physical security to the British Embassy, its staff and visitors on a 24 hour shift pattern. The British Embassy is interested in applications from both men and women for this position.
Main duties and responsibilities
Security’s role is to control entry into the Residence and the Embassy, conduct internal security patrols and respond to any request for help or assistance. They also liaise with relevant local government authorities to assist them when necessary in their role.
The ideal candidate will have:
- excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
- ability to follow instructions quickly and accurately
- good English language skills (see further notes below)
- basic Computer Skills (Outlook and Word)
English language skills
All full-time staff employed by the British Embassy is required to speak English.
Salary and employment
Embassy working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Monthly gross salary for this position is AZN 696.49 payable monthly in arrears. Overtime and night shift allowance are also payable. In addition, the successful applicant will receive a comprehensive medical insurance package, free uniform and excellent training opportunities.
