Sajid Javid appoints Trustee to the British Museum

Grayson Perry CBE has been appointed as a Trustee of the British Museum. This will be for 4 years from 2 April.

Grayson Perry CBE is broadcaster and Turner prize winning artist who works in ceramic, tapestry, embroidery, print and cast metal. Selected recent solo shows include The Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman at the British Museum (2011) and Who Are You? at the National Portrait Gallery (2014). His exhibition The Vanity of Small Differences has been touring to several venues in UK and abroad since 2012. Grayson was awarded a BAFTA for his documentary series All in the Best Possible Taste 2013 and was appointed Chancellor of the University of the Arts London in 2015.
