Saint Peter report and safety flyer published
Fatal person overboard from a single-handed creel fishing vessel, east of Torness Point, near Dunbar, Scotland.
Today, we have published our fatal accident investigation report after the skipper from the single-handed creel fishing vessel Saint Peter (LH22) was recovered from the water on 2 May 2021.
The report, available via this link, contains details of what happened and subsequent actions taken.
A safety flyer to the fishing industry summarising the accident and detailing the safety lessons learned, has also been produced.
