Royal Visit to Croatia
His Royal Highness Prince Edward The Earl of Wessex will visit Split, Croatia on 16-17 May 2019
His Royal Highness Prince Edward The Earl of Wessex will meet senior state and local leaders, joining them in celebrating the UK and Croatia’s partnership in NATO as Croatia marks its 10th anniversary of membership. His Royal Highness will also engage with people whose work embodies cultural and artistic links between Croatia and the UK.
It will be His Royal Highness’s first official visit to Croatia. His brother, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, has visited Croatia on a number of occasions (most recently in 2016) and his sister, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, visited in 2008. Her Majesty The Queen visited Croatia in 1972.
