Resurfacing work on M180 near Scunthorpe to begin

Drivers will benefit from an improved road surface on the M180 in Scunthorpe when overnight resurfacing work starts on Monday 7 September.

The work will be carried out between 8pm to 6am Monday 7 September through to Saturday 12 September on the westbound exit slip roads between junction 4 (Broughton) and junction 3 (M18-M180 junction/Midmoor).

Highways England project manager, John Howard, said:

We are carrying out this improvement work at night to minimise disruption to road users. It’s essential that the work takes place so that drivers can benefit from safer and smoother journeys.

Clearly signed diversions will be in place during the closures.
