Resurfacing work on A38 in Worcestershire

The Highways Agency will be carrying out overnight resurfacing work on the A38 Worcester Road and slip roads at Wychbold, Worcestershire, from Tuesday 27 May.

The Highways Agency will be carrying out overnight resurfacing work on the A38 Worcester Road and slip roads at Wychbold, Worcestershire, from Tuesday 27 May.

The work involves resurfacing a short section of the A38 and southbound entry slip road, taking four nights to complete.

During the closures, which will be 7pm to 6am on 27 to 28 May, 8pm to 6am on 28 to 30 May and 8.15pm to 8am on 30 to 31 May, there will be no access to traffic from the Stoke Road direction.

When the section of the A38 and the slip road are closed, traffic wishing to join the M5 southbound will be diverted south along the A38, then the A4538 to rejoin the M5 south and junction 6 near Worcester. Local traffic will be diverted using local roads.

Road users are advised to allow extra time for journeys during the work.
