The Prime Minister’s Spokesperson (PMS) answered questions on energy bills and migrant benefits.

Energy bills

Asked about energy bills, the PMS said the Prime Minister (PM) had set out the need to help households and families through more competition and rolling back green levies and charges. The government had not asked energy companies for a price freeze. Measures would be set out in the Autumn Statement.

Migrant benefits

Asked about the comments from EU Commissioner Andor, the PMS said the PM had set out his view very clearly.
