Prime Minister David Cameron spoke with the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker about recent developments on EU reform.
A Downing Street spokesperson said:
The Prime Minister called the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker earlier to discuss the UK renegotiation. The Prime Minister thanked Mr Juncker for a productive meeting in Brussels on Friday and welcomed the substantial progress that had been made since then.
With Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, due to circulate a draft negotiating text tomorrow, they agreed that the priority in the coming days would be to secure support from all member states to an ambitious package of reforms.
