The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 3 June 2016 and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M1 junction 30 to junction 31 Aston

The northbound entry slip road at junction 30 will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Monday 6 June. The northbound entry slip road at junction 31 will be fully closed overnight on Wednesday 8 June. The northbound carriageway will be reduced to single lane overnight for five nights from Monday 6 June. The closures are for works on the smart motorways. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 32 Thurcroft to junction 35a Stocksbridge

The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. The southbound exit slip road at junction 32 will be closed overnight for two nights from Monday 6 June. The northbound entry slip road at junction 35 and junction 35a will be closed overnight on Saturday 11 June. The northbound carriageway will be reduced to single lane overnight on Saturday 11 June. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit until the project is completed in winter 2016. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 37 Barnsley

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for two nights and the main carriageway will be reduced to a single lane for two nights from Monday 6 June. The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for three nights from Wednesday 8 June. The closures are for resurfacing works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 39 Denby Dale to junction 42 (M62 interchange)

The southbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight between junction 40 and junction 39 for two nights from Monday 6 June, and for three nights from Friday 10 June. The northbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight between junction 39 and junction 40 for six nights from Tuesday 7 June, the closures will take place between 8pm and 6am Monday to Thursday, Friday 8pm to 9am and Saturday 8pm to 10am. The northbound entry slip road at junction 39 will be fully closed from 9am to 8pm Saturday 11 June and 10am to 8pm Sunday 12 June. Drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes. In addition to this during the day Saturday and Sunday there will only be two lanes open northbound and southbound. All closures are for carriageway works such as waterproofing and bridge works.

M18 junction 6 Thorne to junction 5 Ings

The southbound carriageway will be fully closed between the slip roads at junction 6 overnight for two nights from Monday 6 June for resurfacing work. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes. The northbound entry slip road at junction 5 will be closed and the main carriageway reduced to a single lane overnight on Monday 6 June and Wednesday 8 June.

The northbound carriageway will be fully closed between the slip roads at junction 5 with the main carriageway being reduced to a single lane after slip roads overnight on Tuesday 8 June and Thursday 9 June for resurfacing work. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 26 Bradford (M606 interchange)

There will be narrow lanes and a 30mph speed limit in place until a project to add an extra lane to the roundabout at the junction is completed in autumn. The slip roads and roundabout will be reduced to a single lane overnight, between 7pm and 6am, from Monday 6 June for five nights.

M62 junction 30 Rothwell

The eastbound entry slip road at junction 30 will be fully closed for two nights from Monday 6 June for drainage works. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 32 Castleford

The westbound carriageway will be fully closed between the slip roads at junction 32 overnight for five nights from Monday 6 June for bridge joint works. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 33 Ferrybridge to junction 34 Whitley

The eastbound carriageway will be reduced to a single lane overnight for five nights from Monday 6 June for bridge joint works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am.

M62 junction 27 to M621 junction 1 Beeston

The clockwise link from the M62 eastbound onto the M621 will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 6 June for electrical works. The anticlockwise will be reduced to a single lane overnight for five nights from Monday 6 June for electrical works.

M621 junction 4 Hunslet

The anticlockwise exit slip road at junction 4 will be fully closed on Saturday 11 June for routine maintenance works. The closure will take place between 5am and 9am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62/A162 junction 33 Ferrybridge

The A162 will be fully closed until July 2016 for bridge work. The closures will take place 24/7, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route.

A1M junction 36 Warmsworth to junction 37 Marr

The northbound side of the carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Thursday 9 June for barrier works. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1M junction 35 Wadworth

The northbound exit slip road will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 7 June for barrier works. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A616 Stocksbridge to Deepcar

There will be convoy working on the eastbound and westbound carriageways overnight on Monday 6 June resurfacing works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A616 Westwood to Deepcar

The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for four nights from Tuesday 7 June for resurfacing works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Fulford to Askham Bryan

There will be narrow lanes eastbound and westbound and a 30mph speed limit until work on the bridge joint is completed in July 2016. The eastbound side of the A road will be fully closed overnight for seven nights from Monday 6 June. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A180/A160 Immingham, Humberside

There will be narrow lanes on the A180 and A160 along with a 50mph speed limit while work takes place to improve access to the Port of Immingham, including upgrading the A160 to a dual carriageway The project is due to be completed in autumn 2016. The westbound exit slip road and eastbound entry slip road at Brocklesby Interchange will be closed until autumn 2016.
