Planned roadworks in Yorkshire and the Humber – summary for Monday 27 April to Sunday 3 May

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 24 April and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M1 Junction 30 Chesterfield to Junction 31 Worksop

The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway project, and there will be narrow lanes and a 50 mph speed limit until the scheme is completed in autumn 2015.

M1 Junction 39 Denby Dale to Junction 42 (M62 interchange)

The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway project and there will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place until the scheme is completed in autumn 2015. The southbound side of the motorway will be closed overnight, between 8pm and 6am, on Monday 27 April, with a clearly signed diversion in place.

M18 Junction 3 Doncaster

The northbound side of the motorway will be closed overnight for bridge maintenance work for four nights between junctions 4 and 3 from Monday 27 April. The carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am, with a clearly signed diversion in place.

M18 Junction 3 to Junction 4 Doncaster

The southbound side of the motorway will be closed overnight for bridge maintenance work between junctions 4 and 3 on Monday 27 April and Friday 1 May. The carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am, with a clearly signed diversion in place.

M62 Junction 34 Whitley

The exit and entry slip roads at junction 34 will be closed overnight for carriageway repairs on Thursday 30 April between 8pm and 6am, with a clearly signed diversion in place.
