The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 23 October and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M1 junction 30 Chesterfield to junction 31 Worksop

The northbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane overnight for 2 nights on Wednesday 28 October and Friday 30 October. The southbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane running overnight for 6 nights from Monday 26 October. The northbound entry slip road at junction 30 will be closed overnight on Tuesday 27 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 32 Thurcroft to junction 35a Stocksbridge

The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit until the project is completed in winter 2016.

M1 junction 39 Denby Dale to junction 42 (M62 interchange)

The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place until the project is completed at the end of autumn 2015. The southbound side of carriageway will be fully closed between junction 40 to junction 41 overnight for 4 nights from Monday 26 October. The northbound side of the motorway between junction 39 and junction 40 will be closed overnight for 2 nights on Monday 26 October and Friday 30 October. The southbound side of the motorway between junction 41 and junction 42 will be closed overnight on Friday 30 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 37 Dodworth

The southbound side of the motorway will be closed between the slip roads overnight for resurfacing works for 4 nights from Monday 26 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M18 junction 5 to junction 6 Ings

The southbound side will be reduced to a single lane running for bridge works overnight for 5 nights from Monday 26 October. The northbound side will be reduced to a single lane running overnight for 2 nights from Monday 26 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am,

M62 junction 25 Brighouse

The eastbound exit slip road at junction 25 will be fully closed overnight with a single lane running between the slip roads on Monday 26 October. The eastbound side of the carriageway will be full closed between the slip roads at junction 25 for 4 nights from Tuesday 27 October for bridge works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 33 Ferrybridge

The eastbound entry slip road at junction 33 will be closed overnight for resurfacing works on Monday 26 October. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 22 to junction 23 Outlane

The westbound side of the carriageway will be reduced to a single lane running for resurfacing works for 3 nights from Monday 26 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am.

M62 junction 26 Bradford (M606 interchange)

There will be narrow lanes and a 30mph speed limit in place until the project is completed in autumn 2016. The slip roads and roundabout at the junction will be reduced to a single lane overnight, between 7pm and 6am, from Monday 26 October for 5 nights.

M180 junction 1 to junction 3 Midmoor

The westbound side of the motorway will be closed overnight for carriageway repairs for 3 nights from Friday 30 October. The westbound entry slip will also be closed at junction 3 for 3 nights from Friday 30 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M621 junction 3 Holbeck

The anticlockwise entry slip road at junction 3 will be closed for 2 mornings for routine activities on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November. The closures will take place between 5am and 10am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M621 junction 1 Beeston

The anticlockwise carriageway will be closed overnight for 5 nights from Monday 26 October at junction 1 for bridge works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1M junction 37 to junction 38

The southbound side of the A road will be closed overnight for 5 nights for barrier works from Monday 26 October. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A61 Westwood roundabout

The eastbound and westbound side of the A road will be closed between Westwood and Wentworth Way for roundabout improvement works from Monday 26 October for 4 nights. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A616 Newton Chambers to Westwood

The eastbound and westbound side of the A road will be closed between Westwood and Newton Chambers for resurfacing works from Friday 30 October for 2 nights. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A180/A160 Immingham, Humberside

There will be narrow lanes on the A180 and A160 along with a 50mph speed limit while work takes place to improve access to the Port of Immingham, including upgrading the A160 to a dual carriageway. The project is due to be completed in autumn 2016. The westbound exit slip road at Brocklesby will be closed until August 2016 and the eastbound entry at Brocklesby will be closed until August 2016. The east and westbound side of the A road will be fully closed from Ulceby Road to Brocklesby Interchange for 24 hours from Friday 30 October 8pm to Monday 2 November 6am, drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
