The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 10 March and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M1 junction 32 Thurcroft to junction 35a Stocksbridge

The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. The northbound exit slip at junction 34 will be closed overnight on Sunday 19 March. The northbound exit slip at junction 33 will be closed overnight for six from Monday 13 March. The northbound entry slip at junction 33 will be closed overnight on Thursday 16 March and then again Sunday 19 March.

The M18 southbound link to the M1 northbound link will be closed overnight for seven nights from Monday 13 March. The southbound entry slip at junction 33 will be closed overnight on Wednesday 15 March.

The southbound carriageway at junction 34 will be closed overnight for four nights from Tuesday 14 March. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit until the project is completed in March 2017. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 23 Outlane

The westbound entry slip will be fully closed overnight on Monday 13 March for electrical works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly-signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 29 Lofthouse

The eastbound carriageway will be closed between the slips overnight on Tuesday 14 March for technology works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 24 Ainley Top

The eastbound slip will be fully closed overnight on Friday 17 March for electrical works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M180 junction 1 to junction 2 Woodhouse

The eastbound carriageway will be reduced to single lane running for five days from Monday 13 March for carriageway repairs 9.30am to 15.30pm. The westbound carriageway will be reduced to single lane running overnight for carriageway repairs for two nights from Saturday 18 March from 8pm to 6am.

M180 junction 1 to junction 3 Midmoor

The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for bridge works overnight on Monday 13 March and the westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 14 March for bridge works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1m junction 36 Warmsworth

The southbound carriageway will be fully closed between the slips overnight for five nights from Monday 13 March for barrier works. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly-signed diversion routes.

A1 Darrington

The northbound entry slip will be closed overnight on Friday 17 March for landscaping works. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A63 Western Interchange

The eastbound entry slip and eastbound exit will be fully closed overnight on Monday 13 March for routine works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A63 Priory Way

The westbound exit slip and westbound entry and the eastbound exit and entry slip will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 14 March for routine works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A63 Brighton Street

The eastbound entry and exit slip and westbound entry and exit will be fully closed overnight on Wednesday 15 March for routine works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A63 Daltry Street

The westbound exit and entry slip and the eastbound exit and entry will be closed overnight on Thursday 16 March for routine works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Scagglethorpe to West Knapton

The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 13 March for carriageway repairs. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Pickering Interchange

The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed between the slips overnight for five nights from Monday 13 March for carriageway repairs. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Headley Bar

The eastbound entry slip will be fully closed on the morning for survey works. The closures will take place between 7am and 11am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
