Planned roadworks in Yorkshire and the Humber – summary for Monday 11 May to Sunday 17 May
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 8 May and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M1 Junction 30 Chesterfield to Junction 31 Worksop
There are currently narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. The hard shoulder is also closed. The project is due to be completed in the autumn.
M1 Junction 39 Denby Dale to Junction 42 (M62 interchange)
The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place until the project is completed in autumn 2015. The southbound side of the motorway between junctions 40 and 41 will be closed overnight for construction work on Wednesday 13 and Friday 15 May. The northbound side will also be closed overnight between the same junctions on Tuesday 12 May. The southbound side between junctions 39 and 40 will be closed overnight on Monday 11 and Thursday 14 May. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and clearly signed diversions will be in place.
M18 Junction 2 (A1(M) interchange) to A1m Junction 35 Doncaster
The roundabout will be fully closed for resurfacing work between 8pm and 6am from Monday 11 until Sunday 17 May.
M18 Junction 4 to Junction 5 Doncaster
The southbound side of the motorway between junctions 4 and 5 will be closed overnight for resurfacing work from Monday 11 to Friday 15 May. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and clearly signed diversions will be in place.
M62 Junction 26 (M606 interchange)
All the slip roads and the roundabout will be reduced to single lanes overnight, between 7pm and 6am, for improvement work from Monday 11 to Friday 15 May.
A180/A160 Brocklesby Interchange, Humberside
A series of overnight closures will be in place for resurfacing work at the interchange from Monday 11 until Friday 17 May. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
