The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 5 February 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A4097 – M42 junction 9 to M6 Toll island: carriageway repairs and white lining

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm on 6 February until 5.30am on 7 February and again from 9pm on 7 February until 5.30am on 8 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

Tollbar Island scheme, A45 Stonebridge Highway westbound: improvement work

The westbound carriageway of the A45 Stonebridge Highway will be closed overnight from 8pm until 6am each night from Monday 8 February to Wednesday 10 February.

Tollbar Island scheme, A46 Coventry eastern bypass: improvement work

The northbound carriageway of the A46 Coventry eastern bypass will be closed overnight from 8pm on Friday 12 February until 6am on Saturday 13 February.

A46 – Kenilworth to Stoneleigh junctions: removal of temporary concrete barriers

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 12 February until 6am the following morning (13 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane: footpath widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am each night from 8 February until 13 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Watling Street westbound off Longford Island: column installation and electrical work

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8.30pm on 8 February until 5.30am the following morning (9 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 – Trentham Lakes to Heron Cross: signing and white lining

The eastbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 5.30am each night from 8 February until 13 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 3a to junction 4: barrier repairs

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am on 8 February and 9 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 9: safety fence renewal

The carriageway will be closed in both directions between 9pm and 6am each night from 8 February until 14 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 9 to junction 8: drainage repairs

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 12 February until 6am the following morning (13 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 entry slip: installation of narrow lanes

The northbound entry slip will be closed between 8pm and 6am each night from 8 February until 14 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am each night from 8 February until 14 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 entry and exit slip roads: construction work for major scheme

The northbound and southbound slip roads will be closed between 8pm and 6am each night from 8 February until 14 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 6 entry and exit slip roads: construction work for major scheme

The northbound and southbound slip roads will be closed between 8pm and 6am each night from 8 February until 14 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 2 to junction 3: debris removal from verges

The carriageway and slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 11.30pm and 6am each night from 14 February until 21 February. Please note only one carriageway will be closed at any one time. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 5 entry slip: bridge repairs

There will be a full 24-hour southbound entry slip closure ongoing until 30 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 10a to junction 7: carriageway repairs

The southbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am each night from 8 February until 13 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 13 entry and exit slip roads: litter clearance

The northbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight for two nights between 9pm and 5am from 8 February until 10 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 16 entry slip: carriageway work

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 11pm on 8 February until 3am the following morning (9 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 12 entry slip: litter clearance

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 10 February until 6am the following morning (11 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 9 entry slip: repairs to message signs

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 11 February until 5am the following morning (12 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 12 entry and exit slip roads: litter clearance

The southbound exit slip and entry slips will be closed between 10pm and 6am each night from 12 February until 14 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
