The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 31 December 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A45 – Festival Island, West Midlands: bridge work

Festival Island will be closed overnight for three nights between 9pm and 6am, from 5 January until 8 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 – Stivichall junction to Toll Barr End junction, West Midlands: resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 7 January until 10 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Toll Barr End to TGI Island, West Midlands: carriageway work

The northbound carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 10 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Kenilworth bypass from Stoneleigh junction to Stivichall junction, West Midlands: carriageway

The northbound carriageway and northbound slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 7 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane, West Midlands: footway widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 10 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Washbrook Lane – Rising Sun Roundabout, West Midlands: footway Widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 10 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5/A4601 Longford Island to M6 junction 12, West Midlands: resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 4 January until 10 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500/M6 junction 16 Island, West Midlands: drainage works

The Island will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 9 January until 6am the following morning (10 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 10 entry and exit slip roads, West Midlands: gully cleaning

The northbound exit and entry slips will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 9 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 9 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 6 to junction 4 including junction 5 entry slip, West Midlands: installation of narrow lanes

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 9 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 6 entry and exit slip roads, West Midlands: construction work

The northbound and southbound slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 9 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 4 Entry Slip. West Midlands: police investigation

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed two days between 8am and 5pm from 4 January until 5 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 5 Entry Slip, West Midlands: bridge repairs

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure from 4 January ongoing until 6am on 22 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 4 northbound to M42 junction 7 southbound, West Midlands: Carriageway work The link will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 4 January until 9 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 6 Exit Slip, West Midlands: carriageway work

The southbound and northbound exit slips will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 4 January until 10 January. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 8 Western Arm to M5 southbound, West Midlands: carriageway work

The southbound link/arm from M6 junction 8 to M5 southbound will be closed overnight between 9pm and 8am from 5tJanuary until 10 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 9 to junction 8, West Midlands: carriageway work

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 8am from 5 January until 10 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 9 entry slip, West Midlands. carriageway work

The southbound entry slip will be closed overnight between 9pm and 8am from 5 January until 10 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 6 to Salford Circus to M6, West Midlands: structural repairs

The junction 6 Salford Circus Link to M6 will be closed from 9pm on 8 January. Please note we are working 24/7 here. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
