The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 25 February 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A46 Kenilworth bypass: improvement scheme

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm until 6am on Monday 29 February, Tuesday 1 March and Wednesday 2 March. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stonebridge highway: improvement scheme

Both carriageways will be closed overnight from 8pm on Thursday 3 March until 6am on Friday 4 March. The eastbound carriageway will also be closed from 8pm on Friday 4 March until 6am on 5 March.

A5 Mile End exit slip road: electrical work

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8.30pm on 1 March until 4am the following morning (2 March). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Washbrook Lane to Rising Sun roundabout: footway widening

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 8am from 3 March until 6 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Foley Road – Longton to Meir Tunnel: signing and white lining

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5.30am from 29 February until 4 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Meir Tunnel to Blyth Bridge: signing and white lining

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5.30am from 3 March until 6 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 6 to junction 9: maintenance work

The northbound carriageway will be closed in overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 29 February until 2 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 9 to junction 7: maintenance work and sign repairs

The southbound carriageway will be closed in overnight for one night from 10pm 2 March until 6am the following morning (3 March). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 3a to junction 4: barrier repairs

The northbound carriageway will be closed in overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 3 March until 5 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 29 February until 6 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 entry and exit slip roads: construction work for major scheme

The northbound and southbound slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 29 February until 6 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 2 exit and entry slip roads: electrical work

The northbound and southbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 29 February until 2 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 7 exit slip road: routine maintenance

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 1 March until 5am the following morning (2 March). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 7 entry slip road: routine maintenance

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 1 March until 5am the following morning (2 March). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 6 exit slip road: routine maintenance

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 2 March until 5am the following morning (3 March). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 8 exit slip road: routine maintenance

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 3 March until 6am the following morning (4 March). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 8 entry slip road: routine maintenance

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 3 March until 6am the following morning (4 March). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 7 entry slip road: routine maintenance

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 4 March until 5am the following morning (5 March). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 7 exit slip road: routine maintenance

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 4 March until 5am the following morning (5 March). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 – M5 junction 8 to M50 junction 2: carriageway resurfacing works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 29 February until 5 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 5 entry slip: bridge repairs

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip road closure from 18 January ongoing until 6am 30 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Corley Services entry slip: resurfacing work, road marking and signing

The northbound entry slip will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 29 February until 5 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound and southbound link roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 29 February until 3 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 14 to junction 16: resurfacing

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 29 February until 11 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 12 to junction 10a: lighting repairs

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 29 February until 5 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
