The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 23 June 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 – Fradley Park entry and exit slip roads: gully repairs

The northbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 28 June until 5am the following morning (29 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 (M) out of city and towards the M6 north / M6 south / Erdington & Sutton Coldfield: carriageway repairs The out of city link roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 27 June until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 (M) out of city and towards Tyburn Road: carriageway repairs

The out of city link roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 27 June until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A45 – Stonebridge Highway eastbound: major scheme works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 27 to 29 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 – Stonebridge Highway westbound: major scheme works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 27 to 29 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Llandinabo to Wormlow: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageways will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 27 June until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Wilton Roundabout to A4137 slip roads: carriageway resurfacing

The slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 30 June until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Church bridge Island to Parade Junction: footway widening scheme

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 8am from 27 June until 28 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Grendon to Holly Lane: resurfacing works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 27 June until 28 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5127 – Gravelly Hill Merge onto Aston Expressway: carriageway repairs

The link road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 27 June until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 9 to junction 8 southbound: carriageway resurfacing

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5am from 27 June until 29 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 6 exit slip road: electrical works

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9.30pm on 27 June until 5.30am the following morning (28 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 6 exit slip road: electrical works

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9.30pm on 27 June until 5.30am the following morning (28 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 4 to junction 3a southbound: electrical works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9.30pm on 28 June until 5.30am the following morning (29 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 4a to junction 5: major scheme works

The carriageway will be closed northbound and southbound overnight between 8pm and 6am from 27 June to 2 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 southbound entry slip road: major scheme works

The junction 5 southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 29 and 30 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 6 to junction 7: electrical works

The carriageway will be closed overnight between 23.59 and 6am from 27 June until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The link roads will be closed for 24 hours from 27 June until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 6 exit slip road: carriageway repairs

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm until 6am from 27 June until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 6 exit slip road: carriageway repairs

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm until 6am from 27 June until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 6 entry slip road: camera repairs

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 28 June until 5am the following morning (29 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 5 entry slip road: asset testing

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 3 July until 6am the following morning (4 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 7 exit slip road: resurfacing works

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am form 1st July until 3rd July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 10 to junction 8: carriageway works

The southbound carriageway will be closed until the morning of 27 June at 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 7 to junction 8: carriageway repairs

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 1 July until 3 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
