The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 21 January 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A45 Stonebridge Highway over Stivichall junction: barrier construction

The westbound carriageway over Stivichall junction will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from Monday 25 January to Wednesday 27 January and on Friday 29 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Coventry Eastern Bypass: construction works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from Tuesday 26 to Thursday 28 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane: footway widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 25 January until 29 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Watling Street/Longford Island: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 7pm and 6am from 25 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Meir entry slip road: carriageway sign and white lining

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 25 January until 5.30am the following morning (26 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Foley Road, Longton to Meir Tunnel: carriageway sign and white lining

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5.30am from 26 January until 30 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Meir Tunnel: repairs to tunnel lighting

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm on 28 January until 8am the following morning (29 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 Shelton New Road, entry slip road to A500: street lighting repairs

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 25 January until 6am the following morning (26 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 Stoke Road, entry slip road to A500: street lighting repairs

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 26 January until 6am the following morning (27 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 5 northbound exit and southbound entry slip roads: carriageway maintenance works

The northbound exit slip and southbound entry slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 25 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 25 January until 28 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 9 to junction 7, including junction 9 entry slip road: sign repairs

The southbound carriageway including the entry slip road will be closed overnight for two nights between 10pm and 6am from 25 January until 27 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 6 to junction 9: sign repairs

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 28 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 25 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 entry and exit slip roads: construction works for major scheme

The northbound and southbound slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 25 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 6 entry and exit slip roads: construction works for major scheme

The northbound and southbound slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 25 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 2 southbound exit and entry slip roads and northbound exit slip roads: bridge inspections

The southbound exit and entry slip roads and the northbound exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 9.30pm and 5am from 25 January until 29 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 junction 3 exit and entry slip roads: tree felling

The westbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed during the day for one day from 9am on 26 January until 5pm on 26 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 2: emergency bridge repairs

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 29 January until 5am the following morning (30 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 5 entry slip road: bridge repairs

There will be a full 24-hour southbound entry slip road closure from 18 January ongoing until 6am on 30 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 5 and slip soads: emergency barrier repairs

The northbound carriageway and slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 25 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 7 to junction 10, including all entry slip roads and the M5 link road: Installation of traffic sensors The northbound carriageway including the entry and exit slip roads and M5 link road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 25 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 15 entry and exit slip roads: litter clearance

The southbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight for two nights between 10pm and 6am from 25 January until 27 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Corley Services entry slip road: carriageway works

The northbound entry slip road to the services will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 25 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway including the link road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 27 January until 5am the following morning (28 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 14 to junction 15: repairs to message signs

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 28 January until 6am the following morning (29 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 14 entry and exit slip roads: litter clearance

The northbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 29 January until 31 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 29 until 8am the following morning (30 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 11 to junction 13, including junction 11 and junction 12 entry slip roads: carriageway works

The northbound carriageway including the entry slip roads will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 30 until 8am the following morning (31 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
