Planned roadworks in West Midlands: Weekly summary for Monday 19 to Sunday 25 October 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 15 October 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 – Swinfen to Toyota Island / Swinfen to Weeford, West Midlands: Drainage surveys

The slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 19 October until 25 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 – Clay Mills exit slip. West Midlands: Mast inspection

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 19 October until 3.30am the following morning (20 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 – Clay Mills entry slip, West Midlands: Mast inspection

The southbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 19 October until 3.30am the following morning (20 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38M – Out of City Links/from Lancaster Flyover to M6, West Midlands: Barrier repairs

The Links will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 21 October until 6am the following morning (22 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stonebridge Highway / Stivichall to Toll Bar, West Midlands: Resurfacing works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 22 October until 24 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A458 Wattlesborough to Halfway House, West Midlands: Resurfacing works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 19 October until 25 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Kenilworth Bypass from Stoneleigh to Stivichall, West Midlands: Installation of gantry sign frames

The northbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 19 October until 22 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Walsgrave Island to Bentley (TGI Island), West Midlands: Carriageway resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 19 October until 23 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Dobbies to Edgebold, West Midlands: Resurfacing work

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 23 October until 25 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Woodcote to Dobbies, West Midlands: Resurfacing works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 19 October until 25 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Dobbies to Emstrey, West Midlands: Resurfacing works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 19 October until 25 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 Shelton New Road (B5045) to Etruria junction (A53), West Midlands: Structure inspections

The northbound slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 25 October until 5am the following morning (26 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 5 to junction 4, including junction 5 entry slip, West Midlands: Installation of traffic sensors

The southbound carriageway and entry slip will be closed overnight for three nights between 9pm and 6am from 19 October until 22 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 20 October until 5am the following morning (21 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 exit slip, West Midlands: Junction improvements

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 19 October until 25 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The island and slips in both directions will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 19 until 24 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
