The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 14 July 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 – Streethay slip road: carriageway work

The southbound slip road will be closed overnight from 7pm on 20 July until 7am on 21 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The links from out of city A38 (M) will be closed overnight, 9pm to 6am, from 18 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 (M) – Tyburn Road merge onto A38 (M): structural and carriageway work

The link roads from Tyburn Road to A38 (M) towards City Aston Expressway will be closed overnight, 9pm to 6am, from 18 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 (M) – M6 junction 6 into city slip road: carriageway work

The into city link road will be closed overnight, 9pm to 6am, from 21 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A458 – Middletown to Wollaston: resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight, 9pm to 7am, from 20 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Warwick bypass: resurfacing

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight, 7pm to 6am, from 18 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Longbridge junction to M40 junction 15: carriageway work

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight, 9pm to 6am, from 18 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Llandinabo to Wormlow – Marsh Lane to Tump Lane: resurfacing

The Carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight, 9pm to 6am, from 18 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – between A49/A489 Grove junction and A49/B4370 Marshbrook junction: pavement renewal

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight, 8pm to 6am, from 18 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Tump Lane slip road: CCTV work

The slip road will be closed overnight, 9pm to 6am, from 18 July until 20 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Onibury Level Crossing: Network Rail work

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight from 11pm on 24 July until 5am on 25 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 – A5006 from Michelin roundabout and A500 northbound sideway slip road: material deliveries

The northbound carriageway and slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 18 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5127 – Gravelly Hill merge onto A38 (M) into city Aston Expressway: carriageway work

The link road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 18 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 10 to junction 7: carriageway resurfacing

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 18 July until 24 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 6, including entry slip road, to junction 8: electrical work

The northbound carriageway and slip road be closed overnight from 10.30pm on 19 July until 5am on 20 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 – junction 5 to junction 6: major scheme work

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight, from 8pm to 6am, from 18 July until 24 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M50 – junction 1 exit and entry slip roads: vegetation work

The westbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight from 9pm on 18 July until 6am on 19 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 – junction 2 exit slip road: vegetation work

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 9pm on 19 July until 1am on 20 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 – junction 2 entry slip road: vegetation work

The westbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 1am on 20 July until 6am on 20 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 – junction 2 exit slip road: vegetation work

The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 9pm on 20 July until 1am on 21July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 – junction 2 entry slip road: vegetation work

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 1am to 6am on 21 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 – junction 3 exit and entry slip roads: vegetation work

The eastbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight from 9pm on 21 July until on 22 July. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 6 into city slip road: carriageway repair

A 24-hour slip road closure will be in place from 21 July until 23 December 2017. Diversion route will be clearly signposted.
