The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 11 February 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A46 Kenilworth bypass exit slip road to Stivichall junction: improvement scheme

The A46 Kenilworth bypass northbound exit slip road to Stivichall junction will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Friday 19 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Coventry eastern bypass: improvement scheme

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Friday 19 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stonebridge Highway: improvement scheme

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Monday 15 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane: footpath widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 15 February until 21 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Mile Oak junction to Weeford Island including: sign works and lining alterations

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 15 February until 20 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Washbrook Lane to Rising Sun roundabout: footway widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 8am from 15 February until 21 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Mancetter Island: lighting column installation

The island will be partially closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 17 February until 5am the following morning (16 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Trentham Lakes to Heron Cross: signing and white lining

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5.30am from 15 February until 17 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Heron Cross entry slip road: signing and white lining

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5.30am from 15 February until 17 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Normacot – between the entry and exit slip roads: lighting column installation

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 15 February until 6am the following morning (16 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Blurton Road to Stanley Matthews Way: carriageway repairs

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 19 February until 21 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M40 junction 16 to M42 junction 3A: technology works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 16 February until 5am the following morning (17 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 5 northbound exit and southbound entry slips: maintenance works

The northbound exit slip road and southbound entry slip road will be closed in overnight between 8pm and 6am from 15 February until 21 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 3 exit slip: maintenance works

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 15 February until 6am the following morning (16 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 5 to junction 6: technology works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 15 February until 5.30am the following morning (16 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 5 to junction 6: maintenance works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 17 February until 5am the following morning (18 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 4 exit slip road: maintenance works

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 19 February until 6am the following morning (20 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 exit slip roads: improvement scheme

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 15 February until 18 February. The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 15 February until 20 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 entry slip road: improvement scheme

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 18 February to 20 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 2 to junction 3: debris removal from verges

The carriageway and slip roads will be closed overnight between 11.30pm and 6am from 14 February until 21 February. Please note only one carriageway will be closed at any one time. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 5 entry slip: bridge repairs

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure from 18 January ongoing until 6am on 30 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Corley Services entry slip road: resurfacing, road markings and sign works

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 15 February until 21 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 7 to junction 6: technology works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 15 February until 5.30am the following morning (16 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 12 entry slip: removal of temporary CCTV cameras

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 15 February until 6am the following morning (16 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 15 February until 6am the following morning (16 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 14 entry and exit slip roads: litter clearance

The northbound exit slip and entry slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 16 February until 12 February. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 4A to M42 junction 8 slip road: barrier works

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 16 February until 6am the following morning (17 February). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
