The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 11 September 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
A38 Swinfen to Toyota Island/Swinfen to Weeford: drainage survey work
The carriageway and slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from Monday 14 September until Friday 20 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A38 Clay Mills entry slip road: mast inspections
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 14 September until 3.30am the following morning (15 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 14 September until 3.30am the following morning (15 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Stivichall exit slip road: carriageway reconstruction
The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on Friday 18 September until 6am the following morning (19 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A45 Stivichall exit slip road: carriageway reconstruction
The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on Friday 18 September until 6am the following morning (19 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 Teddington Arms to M5 junction 9: carriageway resurfacing
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on Wednesday 16 September until 5am the following morning (17 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Mile Oak and Weeford Island: carriageway resurfacing
The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from Monday 14 September until Wednesday 16 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from Monday 14 September until Sunday 20 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on Thursday 17 September until 6am the following morning (18 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 junction 3a to junction 3: carriageway resurfacing
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 14 September to 19 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 junction 1 to junction 7: soft estate works
The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from Monday 14 September until Sunday 20 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 to M6 northbound link to M42 southbound link: removal of overhead signage
The link road will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 14 September until 16 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on Wednesday 16 September until 6am the following morning (17 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 17 September until 4.30am the following morning (18 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M54 junction 1 to 7 entry and exit slip roads: vegetation clearance
The entry and exit slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 14 September until 20 September. Please note that only one slip road will be closed on any one night. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M54 junction 5 entry slip road: bridge inspections
The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for two nights between 9pm and 3.30am from 15 September until 17 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M54 junction 5 exit slip road: bridge inspections
The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 15 September until 3.30am the following morning (16 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M54 junction 6 exit slip road: gantry inspections
The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 17 September until 3.30am the following morning (18 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange: re-waterproofing and structural repairs
There will be a full 24 hour eastbound link road closure ongoing until 6am on 30 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 9 entry slip road/Western Arm South: re-waterproofing and structural repairs
There will be a full 24-hour southbound entry slip road closure from 14 September ongoing until 6am on 20 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 13 to 12: resurfacing work
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 10pm on 14 September until 6am the following morning (15 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 10 between the slip roads: urgent bridge inspections
The northbound carriageway between the slip roads will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 14 September until 6am the following morning (15 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 3 exit slip road: urgent bridge expansion joint repair
