Planned roadworks in West Midlands: weekly summary for 30 November – 6 December 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 26 November 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible

A38 – Swinfen to Toyota Island / Swinfen to Weeford, West Midlands: drainage surveys

The slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 30 November until 6 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A40 – A449 to A49 Junctions, West Midlands: inspection of structure

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for one night from 8pm on 3 December until 3.30am the following morning (4 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 – A45/A46 Stivichall Junction to A45/A46 Toll Bar End, West Midlands: remove and relocate temporary barriers

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for one night from 8pm on 5 December until 6am the following morning (6 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Kenilworth Bypass from Stoneleigh junction to Stivichall junction, West Midlands: carriageway reconstruction

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 30 November until 7 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane, West Midlands: footway widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 30 November until 6 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Normacot, West Midlands: drainage works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 9pm and 6am from 2 December until 4 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway to M5 northbound link will be closed overnight for three nights between 8pm and 6am from 4 December until 7 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 6 exit slip, West Midlands: sign repairs

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 3 December until 6am the following morning (4 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 exit slip, West Midlands: junction improvement works

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 30 November until 6 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 1 to 2, West Midlands: bridge expansion joint renewal

The carriageway will be closed in both directions including slip roads overnight between 9pm and 6am from 30 November until 6 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 and junction 6 slip roads, West Midlands: mobilisation in advance of scheme

The slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 30 November until 6 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – M5 northbound eastern arm to M6 southbound, West Midlands: emergency loop repairs

The northbound link to M6 southbound will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 2 December until 6am the following morning (3 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 10 including entry slip, West Midlands: emergency loop repairs

The southbound carriageway, including the entry slip, will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 2 December until 6am the following morning (3 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 7 including entry slip, West Midlands: emergency loop repairs

The northbound carriageway, including the entry slip, will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 1 December until 6am the following morning (2 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 9 entry slip/Western Arm South, West Midlands: re-waterproofing & structural repairs

There is an ongoing, full 24hour southbound entry slip closure. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 4a to junction 3a & M42 junction 7a northbound to M6 southbound link and junction 4a entry slip, West Midlands: bridge repairs

The M6 southbound junction 4a to junction 3a, including full closure of M42 junction 7a northbound link to M6 southbound and M6 junction 4 southbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 30 November until 6am the following morning (1 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M69 junction 1 to M6 junction 2, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 30 November until 6 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
