The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 2 October 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 Swinfen to Toyota Island/Swinfen to Weeford: drainage surveys work

The carriageway and slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 Clay Mills exit slip road: verge work

The northbound exit slip road will be closed during the day between 10am and 3.30pm from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 - A5121 Branston junction: resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 7pm and 7am from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A458 Wattlesborough to Halfway House: resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 exit slip road to Stivichall junction: change of traffic management layout

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 6 October until 6am the following morning (7 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Tollbar End roundabout: positioning of concrete barriers

A section of the roundabout carriageway will be closed between the A46 Coventry eastern bypass exit and the entry slip roads at the roundabout on Tuesday 6 October from 8pm to 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Tollbar to Binley Woods: removal of temporary concrete barriers

The A46 Coventry eastern bypass northbound carriageway from Tollbar roundabout towards Binley Woods roundabout will be closed overnight on Friday 9 October from 8pm to 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Dobbies to Edgebold: resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Edgebold to Dobbies: resurfacing

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Watling Street/Longford Island: carriageway lining, signing & patching

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 7pm and 6am from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Emstrey Island to Dobbies: resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for 2 nights between 7pm and 6.30am from 9 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Woodcote to Edgebold: resurfacing

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 10 October until 6am the following morning (11 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 Etruria Island to M6 junction 16: grass cutting

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 5am from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 Alsagar exit and entry slip roads: street lighting

The southbound exit and entry slip road will be closed overnight for 2 nights between 8.30pm and 6am from 5 October until 7 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 Tunstall entry slip road: street lighting

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8.30pm on 8 October until 6am the following morning (9 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway and link road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 4 October until 6am the following morning (5 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 5 entry slip road: bridge joint replacements

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 5am from 5 October until 7 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 6 slip road onto A45 westbound from roundabout: gas main work

The westbound slip road onto the A45 will be closed overnight for 2 nights between 10pm and 5am from 5 October until 7 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 4 exit slip road: street lighting

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 6 October until 5am the following morning (7 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 4 exit slip road: cable investigations

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for 2 nights between 8pm until 5am from 7 October until 9 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 exit slip road: junction improvement work

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 3 to 4a: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 10pm and 6am from 5 October until 11 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 northbound to M6 Eastern Arm: loop repairs

The Eastern Arm from M5 to M6 junction 8 northbound will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 6 October until 6am the following morning (7 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 1 including entry slip road: loop cutting

The northbound carriageway including the entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 6 October until 6am the following morning (7 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 junction 2 to junction 1: coring work

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 5 October until 6am on 10 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 9 entry slip road/Western Arm South: re-waterproofing & structural repairs

There will be a full 24 hour southbound entry slip road closure from 14 September ongoing until 6am on 18 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 13 to junction 12: resurfacing

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 5 October until 10 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 7 including the entry slip road: loop repairs

The northbound carriageway including the entry slip road will closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 6 October until 6am the following morning (7 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 12 entry slip road: electrical works

The southbound entry slip road will closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 5 October until 6am the following morning (6 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 10 including entry slip road: loop repairs

The southbound carriageway including the entry slip road will closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 6 October until 6am the following morning (7 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 12 exit slip road: sign repairs

The northbound exit slip road will closed overnight for 2 nights between 10pm and 6am from 6 October until 8 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 13 exit slip road: sign repairs

The southbound exit slip road will closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 6 October until 6am the following morning (7 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 11 entry slip road: sign repairs

The northbound entry slip road will closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 9 October until 8am the following morning (10 October). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
