The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Devon

A38 between Chudleigh Station and Clay Lane, Heathfield, south of Exeter: bridge work

Westbound carriageway will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 6 November to 12 November. Diversion will be in place via the B3344 and B3193, with HGVs diverted via the B3344, B3193, A380, A383 and A382 to Drumbridges.

A38 between Forder Valley and Marsh Mills, Plymouth: road stud replacement work

Eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 8 November to 6am on 9 November. Diversion will be in place via link road, with lane closures between Marsh Mills and Deep Lane.

A38 between Marsh Mills and Manadon, Plymouth: road stud replacement work

Westbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 9 November to 6am on 10 November. Diversion will be in place via link road to Forder Valley, the B3413 and A386.

A38 Forder Valley, Plymouth: road stud replacement work

Westbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 10pm on 9 November to 6am on 10 November. Diversion will be in place via B3413 and A386 to Manadon.

A38 Marsh Mills, Plymouth: bridge work

Eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 10pm on 10 November to 6am on 11 November. Diversion will be in place via Manadon.

Westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 10pm on 10 November to 6am on 11 November. Diversion will be in place via Forder Valley.

A38 between Drumbridges and Chudleigh, south of Exeter: resurfacing

Eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 11 November to 6am on 12 November. Diversion will be in place via the A382, B3195, A383 and A380 to Kennford, with locally signed diversion for Chudleigh. A38 Manadon, Plymouth: road stud replacement work

Eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 11 November to 6am on 12 November. Diversion will be in place via the exit and entry slip roads.

Cornwall

A30 between Kennards House, west of Launceston, and Carminow, Bodmin: Temple to Higher Carblake improvement scheme

Westbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 6 November to 6am on 7 November, and nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 12 November to 14 November. Diversion will be in place via the A395 and A39 to Indian Queens. Local traffic can access the A30 between Kennards House and Temple.

A30 Indian Queens, west of Bodmin, to Kennards House, west of Launceston: Temple to Higher Carblake improvement scheme

Eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 6 November to 6am on 7 November, and nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 12 November to 14 November. Diversion will be in place via the A39 and A395 to Kennards House, west of Launceston. Traffic wishing to join the A38 to rejoin A30 eastbound to Carminow. A38 traffic wishing to join the A30 eastbound diverted via the A30 westbound to Indian Queens.

A30 between Chiverton Cross and Carland Cross, east of Redruth: routine maintenance

Eastbound and westbound carriageways will be closed nightly, 7pm to 6am, Monday to Friday only, from 7 November to 12 November. Westbound diversion will be in place via the A3058 from Summercourt, the A392 and A3075 to Chiverton Cross and reverse eastbound. The westbound diversion will be via the B3285 from Zelah Hill (Boxheater) and A3075 and reverse eastbound.
