Planned roadworks in Devon and Cornwall: Weekly summary for Monday 27 April 2015 – Sunday 3 May 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct of April 24 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 Dry Bridge, near South Brent – new bridge scheme

Until 8 May, there will be a 24-hour eastbound exit sliproad closure. Access for residents only. Diversion via Dart Bridge.

A38 Dobwalls Bypass – resurfacing

24hr contraflow and 40mph speed limit (13 Oct 14 to 21 May 15)

A38 Drumbridges, nr Bovey Tracey – junction improvement

Various lane closures on sliproads and roundabout (27 Nov – 30 June)

A38 Kennford, nr Exeter – junction improvement

24hr contraflow and 50mph speed limit (17 Nov 14 – 30 June 15)

Various eastbound lane closures from 8pm to 6am until 27 April.

A38 Carkeel Rounabout, Saltash – junction improvement

30mph speed limit (28 Feb – 31 May)

A30 Alphington, Exeter - survey

Eastbound lane closure 1900 - 0600 Tuesday to Friday for surveys (5 to 8 May)

Westbound lane closure 1900 – 0600 Monday to Friday (until 8 May).

A30 - Liftondown, east of Launceston – bridge work

24-hour westbound lane closure & 50 mph speed limit for bridge works. (27 April – 29 April)

A30 Between Carminow Cross and Innis Downs, nr Bodmin – drainage works

24-hour eastbound lane closure and 50mph limit (26 Nov 14 – 30 April 15)

24-hour westbound lane closure and 50mph speed limit. (26 Nov 14 – 30 April 15)

A38 between Chudleigh and Drumbridges, south of Exeter – footbridge installation

Westbound carriageway closure from 1900 - 0600 for new footbridge installation. Diversion via B3193, A380, A383 & A382. (27 April – 2 May).

A38 Between Dumbridges and Chudleigh, south of Exeter – footbridge installation

Eastbound carriageway closure from 7pm-6am on 27 April to 2 May, for new footbridge installation. Diversion via A382 & A380 to Haldon Hill. Chudleigh traffic to leave diversion at Kingsteignton & follow B3195 & B3193.

A38 Lee Mill to Ivybridge, east of Plymouth - resurfacing

Eastbound lane closure & convoy working 1900 - 0400 hrs for resurfacing (29 April to 1 May).

A30 between Carminow Cross & Innis Downs, Bodmin – drainage works

There will be a 24-hour westbound lane closure & 50 mph speed limit for drainage works until 30 April.

A30 between Innis Downs & Carminow Cross, Bodmin – drainage works

There will be a 24-hour eastbound lane closure & 50 mph speed limit for drainage works until 30 April.

A30 between Callywith & Innis Downs, near Bodmin – drainage works

Westbound carriageway closure 2000 - 0600 for drainage works each night until 1 May. Diversion via A389.

A30 between Innis Downs & Callywith, Bodmin – drainage works

Eastbound carriageway closure 2000 – 0600 until 1 May, for drainage works. Diversion via A389 through Bodmin.

A38 Carkeel roundabout west of Plymouth – improvement scheme

Eastbound lane closure 0900 - 1530 hrs for junction improvement scheme (20 April - 1 May)

Westbound lane closure 9.30am - 3.30pm (21 April - 1 May)

A38 Deep Lane to Voss Farm, east of Plymouth – resurfacing

Eastbound lane closure & convoy working 1900 - 0400 hrs for resurfacing on 27, 28 and 29 April. Lee Mill eastbound exit slip closed overnight on 28 April. Diversion via Westover junction, Ivybridge.
