Planned roadworks in Devon and Cornwall: weekly summary for Monday 14 November to Sunday 20 November 2016
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Devon
A38 between Chudleigh Station and Clay Lane, Heathfield, south of Exeter: bridge work
Westbound carriageway will be closed nightly, from 8pm, until 6am on 14 November. Diversion will be in place via the B3344 and B3193, with HGVs diverted via the B3344, B3193, A380, A383 and A382 to Drumbridges.
A38 between Drumbridges and Chudleigh, south of Exeter: resurfacing
Eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 13 November until 6am on 14 November. Diversion will be in place via the A382, B3195, A383 and A380 to Kennford, with locally signed diversion for Chudleigh.
A38 between Clay Lane, Heathfield and Chudleigh Station, south of Exeter: bridge work
Eastbound carriageway will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 14 November until 19 November. Diversion will be in place via the B3193 and B3344. HGVs diverted via Drumbridges, A382, A383 and A380.
A30 Tongue End, east of Okehampton: road stud replacement work
Westbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 15 November until 6am on 16 November. Diversion will be in place via the B3260 to Meldon.
A30 between Whiddon Down and Meldon, west of Okehampton: bridge work
Westbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 15 November until 6am on 16 November. Diversion will be in place via Sticklepath, South Zeal and the B3260 through Okehampton.
A30 Okehampton bypass between Sourton Cross and Tongue End: bridge work
Eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 14 November until 6am on 15 November. Diversion will be in place via Okehampton.
Cornwall
A30 between Kennards House, west of Launceston, and Carminow, Bodmin: Temple to Higher Carblake improvement scheme
Westbound carriageway will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 12 November until 14 November and nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 19 November until 21 November. Diversion will be in place via the A395 and A39 to Indian Queens. Local traffic can access the A30 between Kennards House and Temple.
A30 Indian Queens, west of Bodmin, to Kennards House, west of Launceston: Temple to Higher Carblake improvement scheme
Eastbound carriageway will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 12 November to 14 November and nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 19 November until 21 November. Diversion will be in place via the A39 and A395 to Kennards House, west of Launceston. Traffic wishing to join the A38 to rejoin A30 eastbound to Carminow. A38 traffic wishing to join the A30 eastbound diverted via the A30 westbound to Indian Queens.
A30 between Dobwalls and Turfdown, east of Bodmin: routine maintenance
Eastbound and westbound carriageways will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 14 November to 26 November. Diversion will be in place via Lostwithiel.
