The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 junction 1 to 2: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September.

M48 Severn Bridge: cable work

Lane one will be closed eastbound and westbound until mid-September.

M48 Severn Bridge: cable work

Westbound carriageway, including the junction 1 westbound entry slip road, will be closed from 6am on 16 July until 10pm on 17 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until February 2017.

M5 junction 10 to 11A: structures

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-November.

A40 Golden Valley to Longford roundabout: resurfacing of Elmbridge Court roundabout

Full carriageway closure will take place nightly from 9pm on 16 July until 6am on 18 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Wiltshire

A303 Deptford to Furze Hedge: resurfacing

Eastbound carriageway will be closed nightly from 8pm on 11 July until 6am on 14 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A36 Thulstone: surveys

Northbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed from 8pm on 13 July until 6am on 14 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Southbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed from 8pm on 14 July until 6am on 15 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A36 between St Pauls roundabout and Castle roundabout: surveys

Northbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm on 15 July until 6am on 16 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

North Somerset

M5 junction 21: surveys

Northbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 11 July until 6am on 12 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Somerset

A303 Cartgate roundabout: resurfacing

Carriageway will be closed nightly, between 8pm and 6am, from 12 July until 15 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Hampshire

A36 Ower roundabout to M27 roundabout: surveys

Southbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm on 11 July until 6am on 12 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
