The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
M32 junction 1 to 2: Metro Bus scheme (Bristol City Council work)
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September 2016.
M48 Severn Bridge: cable work
Lane one westbound will be closed until early September.
M4 junction 22: resurfacing
Westbound and eastbound carriageways between the exit and entry slip roads will be closed nightly from 8pm on 11 May until 6am on 13 May. Diversion will be off and back on the slip roads.
M5 Almondsbury Interchange: communications
M5 southbound link road to M4 eastbound, M4 eastbound link road to M5 northbound, M4 eastbound link road to M5 southbound will be closed overnight from 8pm on 12 May until 6am on 13 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 18 to 16: communications
Northbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 9pm on 9 May until 6am on 10 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 15 to 16: communications
Southbound carriageway will be closed overnight, including the M4 westbound link road to M5 southbound and the M4 eastbound link road to the M5 southbound, from 9pm on 10 May until 6am on 11 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Gloucestershire
M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until February 2017.
M5 junction 10 to 11: installation of narrow lanes
Southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 9pm on 9 May until 6am on 10 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 11 to 10: installation of narrow lanes
Northbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 9pm on 11 May until 6am on 12 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 10 to 11A: structures
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the mid November 2016.
M5 junction 13 to 14: maintenance
Southbound carriageway will be closed overnight, including the entry slip road at junction 13, from 9pm on 8 May until 6am on 9 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Wiltshire
A303/A36 Wylye/ Deptford: surveys
Eastbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed nightly from 8pm on 6 May until 6am on 13 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Somerset
M5 junction 22: resurfacing
Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 9 May until 6am on 10 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 11 May until 6am on 12 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 30: surveys
Southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 11 May until 6am on 12 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 30: surveys
Northbound entry slip will be closed overnight from 8pm on 12 May until 6am on 13 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 29: surveys
Northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 12 May until 6am on 13 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
BANES
A46 between Cold Ashton to London Road junction: surface treatment
Carriageway will be closed nightly (Monday to Friday only) from 8pm on 9 May until 6am on 21 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
