Planned roadworks in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, BANES, Wiltshire, West Dorset and Devon: Weekly summary for Monday 8 June to Sunday 14 June 2015
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of June 5 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
M5/M4 Almondsbury Interchange: communications
M5 southbound link to M4 eastbound link will be closed from 8pm Tuesday 9 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5/M4 Almondsbury Interchange: signage maintenance
M5 southbound link to M4 westbound link will be closed from 8pm Thursday 11 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 17: communications
Full northbound closure between the exit slip and the entry slip will be closed from 8pm Monday 8 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be off and back on via the slip roads.
M5 Junction 19: lining works
Northbound exit slip will be closed from 8pm Thursday 11 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M32 Junction 3 to 2: street lighting
Full northbound and southbound closure nightly from 8pm Monday 8 June until Friday 12 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Gloucestershire
M5 Junction 10: bridge repairs
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound carriageway until October 2015.
M5 Junction 11: resurfacing
Full northbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm Tuesday 9 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 11: resurfacing
Full northbound closure between exit slip and entry slip from 8pm Wednesday 10 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be off and back on via the slip roads.
M5 Junction 11: resurfacing
Full northbound entry slip will be closed from 8pm Thursday 11 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Wiltshire
M4 Junction 16: drainage
Narrow lanes westbound in operation until mid July 2015.
North Somerset
M5 Junction 20: resurfacing
Northbound entry slip road will be closed nightly from 8pm Monday 8 June until Wednesday 10 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Somerset
No planned works.
BANES
A36 between Claverton and Dundas Aqueduct: barrier and embankment stabilisation
Both northbound and southbound carriageways of the A36 will remain closed until early July 2015. Diversions are clearly signposted.
West Dorset
No planned works.
Devon (M5 only)
M5 Junction 28: improvements scheme
Various closures on the southbound exit slip road until August 2015.
