Summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
M32 Junction 1 – 2: Metro Bus Scheme
Full southbound carriageway closure including Junction 1 entry slip, nightly from 9pm on 6 January until 6am on 8 January. Diversion will be clearly signposted. Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place between Junctions 1 and 2 southbound until the end of September 2016.
M32 Junction 3 – 1: Metro Bus Scheme
Full northbound carriageway closure including Junction 2 entry slip, nightly from 9pm on 7 January until 6am on 9 January. Diversion will be clearly signposted. Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place between Junctions 2 and 1 northbound until the end of September 2016.
Gloucestershire
M5 Junction 13 - 15: Drainage works
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until March 2016.
M5 Junction 14 - 12: Bridge Maintenance
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on northbound carriageway until October 2016.
M5 Junction 12 – 14: Bridge Maintenance
Full southbound carriageway closure including Junction 12 and 13 entry slips from 10pm on 6 January until 6am the following morning to install narrow lane. Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place until December 2016.
A40 Huntley: Traffic signal renewals
24 hour multiway lights in operation from 6am on 23 November until 6pm on 8 January 2016. A40 Forest Gate (Huntley) to Church Lane: Traffic signal renewals Full carriageway closure from 8pm on 9 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Wiltshire
A303/A36 Deptford Interchange: Traffic Signal renewals
24 hour multiway lights in operation from 7pm on 18 December until mid-January 2016.
A36 Cotley Roundabout to Deptford Interchange: Traffic Signal renewals
Full carriageway closure from 8pm on 4 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
A303/A36 Deptford Interchange: Traffic Signal renewals
Northbound slip from A36 and westbound slip from the A303 will be closed nightly from 8pm on 5 January until 6am on 11 January. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
