The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M4 between junction 19: resurfacing

Full westbound carriageway will be closed nightly from 10pm on 30 November until 6am on 4 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M4 between junction 19: bridge maintenance

Full eastbound carriageway will be closed from 10pm on 4 December until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be off and back on the slips

M4 between junction 19: bridge maintenance

Full eastbound carriageway will be closed from 10pm on 30 November until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be off and back on the slips

M4 Second Severn Crossing: bridge maintenance

Full westbound carriageway will be closed nightly from 8pm on 4 December until 6am on 6 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 13-15: drainage works

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until end of February 2016.

M5 junction 14–12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes in operation northbound only until end of October 2016.

M5 junction 12: resurfacing

Full northbound exit slip will be closed from 8pm on 1 December until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 12: resurfacing

Full northbound exit slip will be closed nightly from 8pm on 3 December until 6am on 5 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A40 Huntley: traffic signal renewals

24 hour multiway lights in operation from 6am on 23 November until 6pm on 12 December.

Wiltshire

A303 Fonthill Bishop: resurfacing

Full closure nightly from 8pm on 2 December until 6am on 5 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A36 Wilton Railway Bridge: utility works

Full closure from 10pm on 1 December until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

North Somerset

A36 Beckington to Chapmanslade: resurfacing

Full carriageway closure will be closed nightly from 8pm on 30 November until 6am on 2 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

BANES

A4 Batheaston: structural maintenance

Full northbound closure will take place between the off and on slip nightly from 8pm on 3 December until 6am on 5 December. Diversion will be off and back on the junction.

A4 Batheaston: structural maintenance

24 hour lane closure in operation from 6am on 2 December until mid-December.

West Dorset

No planned works.

Devon (M5 only)

M5 junction 30–28: bridge maintenance

Northbound and southbound lane 3 closed 24/7 with narrow lanes in operation from 6am on 7 November until early December 2016.

M5 junction 29–30: removal of narrow lanes for bridge maintenance

Full southbound closure including Junction 29 entry slip nightly from 8pm on 30 November until 6am on 2 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
