The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 junction 1 to 2: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September.

M32 junction 2: surveys (MetroBus work)

Southbound carriageway will be closed between the exit and entry slip road nightly from 8pm on 19 July until 6am on 21 July. Diversion will be in place off and on the slip roads.

M32 junction 3: surveys (MetroBus work)

Northbound carriageway will be closed between the exit and entry slip road nightly from 8pm on 19 July until 6am on 21 July. Diversion will be in place off and on the slip roads.

M48 Severn Bridge: cable work

Lane one will be closed eastbound and westbound until mid-September.

M48 Severn Bridge: cable work

Eastbound and westbound carriageways, including the junction 2 eastbound entry slip road and junction 1 westbound entry slip road, will be closed from 6am on 23 July until 10pm on 24 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 18a: maintenance

Northbound carriageway between the Portway roundabout and M5 junction 18 northbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 18 July until 6am on 19 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 18a: maintenance

Carriageway between St Brendans roundabout and M5 junction 18 southbound entry slip road will be closed nightly from 8pm on 19 July until 6am on 21 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until February 2017.

M5 junction 10 to 11A: structures

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-November.

M5 junction 10: maintenance

Southbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm on 21 July until 6am on 22 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Wiltshire

A303 Furze Hedge to Deptford: resurfacing

Eastbound carriageway will be closed nightly until 6am on 20 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A36 between St Pauls roundabout and Castle roundabout: surveys

Southbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm on 18 July until 6am on 19 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A36 between Castle roundabout and St Pauls roundabout: surveys

Northbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm on 19 July until 6am on 20 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A36 between Castle roundabout and St Marks roundabout: surveys

Northbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm on 20 July until 6am on 21 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

North Somerset

M5 junction 20: surveys

Northbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 20 July until 6am on 21 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
