The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 junction 1 to 2: Metro Bus scheme (Bristol City Council works)

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September 2016.

M5 junction 18 to 17 (Hallen Hill): drainage and carriageway repairs

Various 24/7 lane closures on northbound only will commence from 17th January until mid March 2016.

M5 junction 18 to 18a: bridge Inspections

Full northbound closure will take place from 8pm on 20 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 18a to 18: bridge Inspections

Full southbound closure will take place from 8pm on 21 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 20 to 19 (Tickenham Hill): drainage and carriageway repairs

24/7 lane closures on northbound only will be in operation during the day with additional lane closures overnight between 14th January until 26th January.

Full overnight closures will be in operation from 9pm on 27 January (Monday to Friday only) until 6am on 10 February. Diversion will be clearly signposted. Narrow lanes with 50 mph restrictions will be in operation during the day.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 13 to 15: drainage works

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until March 2016.

M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October 2016.

A40 Huntley: traffic signal renewals

24 hour multiway lights in operation from 6am on 23 November until 6pm on 25 January 2016.

A40 Forest Gate (Huntley) to Church Lane: traffic signal renewals

There will be a full carriageway closure from 8pm on 21 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A40 Huntley to Highnam: traffic signal renewals

There will be a full carriageway closure from 8pm on 22 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 25: resurfacing

Northbound between slips will be closed nightly from 9pm on 13 January until 6am on 22 January. Diversion will be off and back on.

BANES

A46 Batheaston bypass: structures

Northbound entry slip will be closed nightly from 8pm on 11 January until 6am on 30 January. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

West Dorset
