The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 junction 1 to junction 2: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of November 2016.

M4 junction 18 to junction 19: Western Power

Eastbound and westbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 10pm on 17 September until 6am on 18 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 14 to junction 12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until June 2017.

M5 junction 12 to junction 13: traffic management

Southbound carriageway, including junction 12 entry slip road, will be closed overnight from 9pm on 17 September until 6am on 18 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 13 to junction 12: traffic management

Northbound carriageway, including junction 13 entry slip road, will be closed overnight from 9pm on 18 September until 6am on 19 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 10 to junction 11A: structures

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-November.

M5 junction 11A: bridge joint repair

Northbound carriageway between exit and entry slip roads, including R and U loop, will be closed nightly, 9pm to 6am, from 12 September until 15 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M48 Severn Bridge: surfacing

Eastbound carriageway, including junction 2 entry slip road, will be closed overnight from 8pm on 14 September until 6am on 15 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A40 Elmbridge Court roundabout: construction work

Lane closure will be in place on Elmbridge Court roundabout until February 2018.

Wiltshire

A36 Cley Hill to Crockerton: drainage

Northbound and southbound carriageways will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 12 September until 15 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A36 Cley Hill to Crockerton: drainage

Southbound lane closure will be in place between Cley Hill and Crockerton until late October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A303 Longbarrow to Solstice Park: road marking

Eastbound and westbound carriageways will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 12 September until 14 September. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

Somerset

A303 South Petherton to Southfields: traffic management installation

Full carriageway closure will be in place overnight from 9pm on 12 September until 6am on 13 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A303 South Petherton to Southfields: structures

Daytime lane closures with overnight traffic lights, will be in place nightly, 9pm to 6am, Monday to Saturday only, from 14 September until 7 October.

Lane one eastbound will be fully closed from 9pm on 12 September until 7 October.

Eastbound and westbound carriageways will be closed overnight from 9pm on 18 September until 6am on 19 September. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.
