The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 junction 1 to junction 2: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of November.

M32 junction 2 to junction 3: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)

Northbound and southbound carriageways will be closed nightly, 9pm to 6am, from 10 October until 15 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 14 to junction 12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until June 2017.

M5 junction 10 to junction 11A: structures

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-November.

M5 junction 10 to junction 11: traffic management work

Northbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 9pm on 10 October until 6am on 11 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 11 to junction 10: traffic management work

Southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 9pm on 11 October until 6am on 12 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 18A: resurfacing

Southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 13 October until 6am on 14 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A40 Elmbridge Court roundabout: construction work

Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in opearation until February 2018.

Wiltshire

A36 Cley Hill to Crockerton: drainage

Southbound lane closure will be in place until 28 October.

Northbound and southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 11 October until 6am on 12 October. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

Somerset

M5 junction 22: resurfacing

Southbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight from 8pm on 10 October until 6am on 11 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 25 to junction 26: resurfacing

Southbound carriageway, including junction 25 southbound entry slip road, will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 11 October until 13 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 28: resurfacing

Southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 13 October until 6am on 14 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 14 October until 6am on 15 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A303 South Petherton to Southfields: bridge work

Lane closure, with overnight traffic lights, will be in place from 9pm until 6am, Monday to Saturday only, until 22 October.

South Gloucestershire

M5 junction 14 to junction 15: Western Power work

Northbound and southbound carriageways will be closed overnight from 9pm on 16 October until 6am on 17 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Devon

M5 junction 30: resurfacing

Northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 11 October until 6am on 12 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 30 to junction 29: resurfacing

Northbound carriageway, including junction 30 northbound entry slip road, will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 13 October until 15 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
