The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 junction 1 – 2: Metro bus scheme (Bristol City Council works)

There are narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September 2016.

M32 junction 2: structures

The northbound exit slip will be closed from 8pm on 2 February until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 18 to 17 (Hallen Hill): drainage and carriageway repairs

Various 24/7 lane closures will be in place on northbound carriageway until mid-March 2016.

M5 Junction 20 – 19 (Tickenham Hill): drainage and carriageway repairs

Full overnight northbound closures will be in operation from 9pm on 28 January (Monday to Friday only) until 6am on 10 February. Diversion will be clearly signposted. Narrow lanes with 50 mph restrictions on the northbound will be in operation during the day.

M4 junction 21 to 20: communications

A full eastbound carriageway closure will take place from 9pm on 1 February until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 13 to 15: drainage works

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until March 2016.

M5 junction 13: drainage Works

The southbound entry slip will be closed from 9pm on 31 January until 6am the following morning. The diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 14 to 13: bridge Maintenance

A full northbound carriageway will take place from 8pm on 1 February until 6am the following morning. The diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 14 to12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October 2016.

A40 Huntley: traffic signal renewals

24 hour multiway lights will be in operation from 6am on 23 November until 6pm on 13 February 2016.

Wiltshire

M4 Junction 16 to 17: embankment works

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the westbound carriageway until early March.

A36 Crockerton roundabout to Deptford Interchange: resurfacing

The full carriageway including A303 eastbound exit slip will be closed nightly from 8pm on 1 February until 6am on 6 February. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
