The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 junction 1 to 2: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September.

M48 Severn Bridge: cable work

Lane one will be closed eastbound until mid-September.

M5 junction 17: structure repairs

Southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between the exit and entry slip roads from 8pm on 4 August until 6am on 5 August. Diversion will be off and back on via the slip roads.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until June 2017.

M5 junction 10 to 11A: structures

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-November.

M5 junction 11: structures

Southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 3 August until 6am on 4 August. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 9: resurfacing

Northbound exit slip road will be closed nightly, 9pm to 6am, Monday to Friday only, from 3 August until 11 August. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Wiltshire

A36 Cotley Hill to Crockerton roundabout: surveys

Carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 1 August until 6am on 2 August. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

North Somerset

M5 junction 21: surveys

Northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 10pm on 5 August until 6am on 6 August. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
