Planned roadworks in and around the M25: Weekly summary for Monday 13 April - Sunday 19 April

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 10 April 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M3 junction 2, Surrey: Drainage work

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 9pm and 5.30am, for five nights from Monday 13 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the M25 clockwise to junction 13, the A30 and A322.

M4 junctions 1 - 3, Greater London: Drainage work

The eastbound carriageway and slip roads will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, for four nights from Monday 13 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A4 and A312.

M11 junction 6, Essex: Carriageway sweeping

The north and south bound link roads to the M25 clockwise will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Monday 13 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 26 of the M25.

The north and south bound link roads to the M25 anti-clockwise will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Tuesday 14 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 28 of the M25.

M11 junction 6, Essex: Verge and resurfacing work

The northbound link roads to the M25 clockwise and anti-clockwise carriageways will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, for two nights from Friday 17 April. Work on Friday will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 7. The southbound link road to the M25 anti-clockwise will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Sunday 19 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 28 of the M25.

M25 junction 5, Kent: Litter clearance

The anti-clockwise carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Thursday 16 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A21 and A25.

M25 junction 6, Surrey: Carriageway resurfacing

The anti-clockwise carriageway between the exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, for four nights from Thursday 16 April. A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the exit and entry slip roads.

M25 junction 25, Hertfordshire: Carriageway sweeping

The anti-clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight, between 11pm and 5am, on Friday 17 April. A clearly signed diversion for the entry slip road will be in place via junction 26. A clearly signed diversion for the exit slip road will be in place via junction 24.

M25 junction 26, Essex: Carriageway sweeping

The anti-clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Thursday 16 April. A clearly signed diversion for the entry slip road will be in place via junction 28. A clearly signed diversion for the exit slip road will be in place via junction 25.

M25 junction 31, Essex: Dart Charge construction work

The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, for two nights from Monday 13 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 30.

A13/M25 junction 30 Thurrock, Essex: Major improvement

Narrow lanes and a 40mph speed limit are in place with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day. There will be additional overnight lane and slip road closures as required. All closures will have a clearly signed diversion in place.

A13 North Stifford, Essex: Major improvement

The westbound entry slip road from the A1012 will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, for two nights from Wednesday 15 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A13 eastbound to the A128 Brentwood exit and return.

A282 junction 1a, Kent: Dart Charge construction work

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 8:30pm and 5.30am, for six nights from Tuesday 14 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 1b except on Wednesday 15 April when the diversion will be via junction 2.

A282 junction 1b, Kent: Dart Charge construction work

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Monday 13 April and Wednesday 15 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 2.

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Tuesday 14 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 2. ## A282 junction 1b – 2, Kent: Dart Charge construction work

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Monday 13 April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the junction 1b link road to the junction 2 roundabout.

A282 (M25) Dartford – Thurrock Crossing: Maintenance work

The following closures will be in place, with a fully signed diversion for oversized vehicles for the northbound east tunnel closures.

  • Monday 13 April (8.30pm to 5.30am): northbound East Tunnel closure
  • Tuesday 14 April (8.30pm to 5:30am): northbound West Tunnel closure
  • Wednesday 15 April (8.30pm to 5:30am): northbound West Tunnel closure
  • Thursday 16 April (8.30pm to 5.30am): northbound West Tunnel closure
  • Friday 17 April (8.30pm to 5.30am): northbound West Tunnel closure
  • Saturday 18 April (8.30pm to 5.30am): northbound West Tunnel closure
  • Sunday 19 April (8.30pm to 5.30am): northbound West Tunnel closure

The QEII Bridge will have three (of four) lanes closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, for two nights from Monday 13 April. A1089 Tilbury, Essex: Carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway between the Asda roundabout and the Tilbury Docks entrance road will be operating a contraflow system overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, for four nights from Wednesday 15 April. Work on Friday will be between 11pm and 6am. Any abnormal loads wishing to pass through the contraflow will be required to pull into the layby either side of the works and call to be escorted.
