The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 6 January 2017 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A449 – Gailey roundabout to Brewood Road: carriageway work

North and southbound carriageway closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 9 January until 15 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 – A423 junction entry slip road: electrical work

Northbound entry slip road closed overnight for one night from 8.30pm 9 January until 5am the following morning (10 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Tollbar exit slip to Coventry Eastern Bypass: carriageway work

Northbound carriageway closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 9 January until 11 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Coventry Eastern Bypass to Tollbar: carriageway work

Southbound carriageway closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 12 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Oversley to Salford Priors: carriageway work

Southbound carriageway closed overnight for one night from 9pm 10 January until 5am the following morning (11 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Leek Wootton to Leamington Road: carriageway work

Northbound carriageway closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 11 January until 14 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Ventura exit slip road: carriageway work

Westbound exit slip road closed overnight for one night from 9pm 10 January until 6am the following morning (11 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Centurion entry slip road: carriageway work

Westbound exit slip road closed overnight for one night from 9pm 13 January until 6am the following morning (14 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 – Talke junction island: carriageway work

East side of the island closed for 24 hours 7 days a week from 9 January ongoing until 31 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5148 – Lichfield entry slip road: inspections

Southbound entry slip road closed overnight for one night from 9.30pm 12 January until 6am the following morning (13 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M40 – junction 16 to M42 junction 3: carriageway work

Northbound carriageway closed overnight for one night from 10pm 10 January until 6am the following morning (11 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 3a slip roads: carriageway work

Northbound slip roads closed overnight for one night from 9pm 9 January until 6am the following morning (10 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 6 entry and exit slip road: carriageway work

Northbound entry and exit slip roads closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 9 January until 11 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 5 exit slip road: carriageway work

Eastbound exit slip road closed overnight between 10pm and 5am from 9 January until 15 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 15 entry slip road: carriageway work

Northbound entry slip road closed overnight for one night from 8pm 9 January until 6am the following morning (10 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 2 exit slip road: carriageway work

Southbound exit slip road closed overnight for one night from 9pm 9 January until 6am the following morning (10 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

Southbound carriageway including link roads closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 10 January until 12 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 6 entry slip to junction 4: carriageway work

Southbound carriageway closed overnight for one night from 10pm 12 January until 6am the following morning (13 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 – junction 4a to junction 5: carriageway work

Southbound carriageway closed overnight from 10pm until 6am on 10 January to 15 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 – junction 5 to junction 6: improvement scheme

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 11 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
